The fact there was a tree instead of just a Rose was interesting and a nice twist, and the interactions between Belle and the beast when he finally showed up! Beauty casts its own shadow, because it finds its own way to shine.
The doey points of the Beauty and the Beast story don’t happen until half way through the book.

Overall Kissed is a really good book with some really good and inspiring quotes. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I liked that part of the story because we really get to know Dokey’s Belle. If only you wait long enough.
There was no build. Belle and the Beast, during a mere 40 pages not a lot because this is a very small bookhave a couple of conversations. During a fierce storm, Belle’s father stumbles upon the mysterious Heartwood—and encounters a terrifying and lonely Beast.

If Belle is the only character who really interests dokry in the story of Beauty and the Beast, then “Belle” is a good story for you. This book was a really good first read for me from author Cameron Dokeu. I’ll definitely hang on to this book and not only for its beautiful cover–there were some beautiful sentences I highlighted as well. But, nevertheless, I still enjoyed Belle.

I truly felt sorry for Deirdre, her father, her name, and that whole situation. To ask other readers questions about Kissedplease sign up. Where did that come from? What you recall is simply that you were happy, not necessarily the individual moments that brought about your joy. She isn’t her name so it feels like it’s a lie and that is what she doesn’t like.
Is that how it spells? Overall, I enjoyed it, but having read Robin McKinley’s various Beauty and the Beast stories, this story just doesn’t come close to any of them.
