What I find hard to believe is that Ratnam, Rangan do not acknowledge the fact that being from a filmy family one definitely has the safety net and the contacts, help needed whenever one needed to reach out to perhaps anyone in any department.
I adored the film, the writing, and the screenplay so much that there was this mystical quality that drew me back to the film at such a frequency.

Mani Ratnam has made some of the most influential movies of our times and can be credited for taking Tamil Cinema to new heights, but this book is not the rratnam to glorify him.
Oct 10, Santhosh rated it it was amazing Shelves: Where eith expectation was let down were in conversation going more on character analysis and not film making. Having lived through most of the Mani’s movies, this book brings back quite a bit of nostalgia. A bigger canvas of film making and a lot of color and vibrancy is what a lot of film-goers associate with a successful commercial movie in an Indian parlance.
