Found that the book is great for some light hearted information, great to read with my husband. However, I still enjoyed reading it weekly and the honesty in the last sections after the birth was really appreciated, as it seemed more real than other books.
Loved it from the beginning to the end. Amazon Restaurants Food delivery from local restaurants. Sent this book to a girlfriend who was pregnant, she loved it. I wasn’t much into reading about pregnancy or birth but this book changed my mind.
Would recommend to anyone that is pregnant.
Cooke u makes suggestions for other helpful resources, which I really appreciated because there is so much to choose from and i A funny, quirky, informative, unbiased, no-frills guide to each week of pregnancy from start to finish. It is very amusing and I love how each chapter is dedicated to a week of pregnancy and showed measurements of baby etc.

This one however takes you step by step and is written in a way that we all think about stuff. I found the book informative and light hearted. Love how it is informative without being preachy.
That’s not a fault of the book all pregnancy books will have this problemit’s simply a result of the fact that every woman and every pregnancy is different. I purchased the version at a time cioke I innocent enough not to realise that myself and my husband would be about to start a 7 year journey of infertility and assisted reproduction. Having a bit of a laugh before bed dduff this book really brightened things up for me while I was learning what to expect in the coming weeks. If you’ve never heard of Kaz Cooke before, she’s an Australian columnist, author, cartoonist and resident funny lady.
And Up the Duff is funny. There’s just too much variation and no set rules.
But I still wanted info. Cooke also makes suggestions for other helpful resources, which I really appreciated because there is so much to choose from and it’s difficult to know where to start.

It has fantastic insights into the world of the pregnant – I’m sure if you buy this book you won’t be disappointed and it will get plenty of use being passed around others!
